Homemade Gourmet Food Baskets

I love it every year when I start getting catalogs full of lovely gourmet food baskets. Not because I’m going to buy any, but because I am going to get ideas about making my own! Everyone loves receiving homemade gourmet food baskets. I started making them years ago when I realized how easy it is to find specialty foods locally or online and find inexpensive baskets at craft stores. My family and friends love them! I make chocolate gift baskets, wine gift baskets, cheese and crackers, popcorn, and even baskets for my gal pals that have lots of bath oils, scented soaps and lotions. I have saved a fortune over buying them pre-made and can make very personalized gifts.
