Digital Video and Security Applications

Security applications have been one of the more obvious applications of digital video. With digital video taking up very little space nowadays and with computer disc space now at dirt cheap prices, digital video is now king when it comes to security. There is now no more need for the costly storage of analog tapes and there is now no more need for time-intensive rewinding. Any point in time could be instantly called up when needed for analysis and videos need not be erased.
