I found the perfect gift for my husband… a book on forklift repair.

My daughter loves to read. I often buy her gift cards from the local bookstore for birthday and holiday gifts. While Christmas shopping, I went into the bookstore to pick up a gift card to stick in her stocking. The line was fairly long st the register, so I decided to browse the selection of books for something that I may be interested in reading. I was hoping the line would shorten and I wouldn’t have to wait so long. My husband works in a factory, where he operates a forklift. When it is not running up to par, my husband is required to lift, transport, and stack heavy objects, until maintenance has a chance to fix the equipment. He had been doing this for weeks and was complaining that his back was really bothering him. As I was browsing the selection of how-to books, I came across a book on forklift repair. I bought the book for my husband and stuffed it in his stocking. After Christmas, he returned to work, fixed the forklift himself, and is now able to use it to do the lifting for him.
